when do you put your christmas tree up?

Seeing as though this is topic of conversation around know how about it!

When do you lot put your trees up? and of course photos are a must

Mine been up a while now, but i was brought up putting it up earlier then alot would.

Mine complete with pressies

Wow ours doesn't go up until after my sons bday 18th dec

see that's far to late for me i'd be right depressed my OH's bday is the 20th of December but theres no way i'm putting it up after that!

I don't even acknowledge it happening till after my Birthday ( on wednesday) and then I wait till usually one or two days before Christmas eve if I can stand the child moaning I'm a bah humbug!!

how can you wait that long!

We have 8 in total.... .and they go up first weekend of December....not sure how many will remain undestroyed by Christmas day though!

To be fair I think it helps( hinders) me in the fact she usually goes to her dads from the end of term to usually the day before or Christmas eve and then goes back the day after boxing day for new year so decorations are only up for a minimum of time before she goes back to school

Fair enough, i'd still have to put them up just for me!

Im an atheist lol so i never put one up lol theyd prob pee on it anyway. Makes for a nice quiete walk on crimbo day so i aint complaining. New year is my time, fresh beginings and new starts..and the days getting longer..yay!

That's a nicely-decorated tree. All the good Atheists put up Christmas trees, the Bible says Christmas trees are sinful . Anyway, we put ours up whenever we get around to it, no specific date. Though if I had my own place, I'd be seen as miserable cos I can't be bothered with Christmas trees and decorations. I only care for the presents, food and snow

We put ours up on the first December..I had my sister texting me badgering me to put mine up yesterday as she has done hers. She only did it cos the midwife was coming for her first booking in appointment and she wanted to impress her, I know it! - pregnant women are weird

I haven't had a tree for years now.I have nowhere to put one with my zoo living here i put up lights and stuff though,but not until the first or second week of december

We would usually put our Christmas tree up a couple of weeks before the big day. The first year my hubby and I were in the flat we put it up at the beginning of December though, one of my colleagues called me a sad ba****d I think she was only joking though

Traditionally it's the 12th isn't it? Unless my mum always told me that to stop me pestering beforehand

im norramal 12 days before up and 12 days after down so on the same lines pygmyparrot

When my daughter was young I put it up on the 1st. Now its usually 12 days before and take it down 12 days after.

If i had my way never as its a real pain all the awful xmas records people spending money they havent got ,and greedy little angels ! i want i want i need ,bah humbug ,hope my wife doesnt read this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As my five year old loves Christmas so harnessing the magic whilst it's still there! We a fibre optic one outside front door...one in Hal one in living room, conservatory, kitchen, downstairs toilet, dining room and on the landing.....electric bill for Dec is mad though!

We only have 2 trees up

We put ours up first week in December. Also put a cpl of lights round the front door and solar fairy lights in 2 trees in the front yard.

My Grandson has the same Birthday ( go on say it "you don't look old enough Dave" )

Our Tree will be up around 10th Dec or so , then down , then up , then down and then we ban Tommy from the front room

Lol since having dogs we bought a 2ft fibre optic tree that sits on the coffee table, well out the reach of naughty staffys !

Also an atheist, and will sound like a right scrooge, but I don't celebrate other religions holy days, so see no need to celebrate a Christian one, though my family do so I still buy presents for them etc. However my house mate LOVES it and I came home from work today to a tree and lights EVERYWHERE haha!

mine goes up Dec 1st, but i have some holly lights on the gate already (the solar light stops in winter so cant see if i am closing them lol)

Since a small kid (Notice I'm not saying I'm grown up yet) My tree has gone up on my birthday 11th Dec. For many years I thought it was a bithday tree
