DAF delivery

Finally got my first DAF delivery on fri! YEY!!
I ordered some hooves stuffed with chicken mince, and although i probs already know this the answer to this just thought i'd double check that she can eat the full thing? hoof and all?

Also ordered sum tripe chunks, am i better to cut them into pieces when i feed them or just how it comes? Do i also need to watch how much i give her? is it rich?

can i also say that their minced chicken is a hell of a lot pongier than i woulda thought, i mean i expected the tripe to reek but thought the chicken would be reasonably odourless!

Yes they can eat the hoof!

I just give big chunks of tripe but it's up to you how much to give!

I don't think tripe smells that bad but most can't stand the smell!

am not a big meat fan though, my oh was cooking mince last week and i had to sit with my hoodie up over my nose cause the smell was making me sick! up until i started feeding raw i hadn't set foot in a butchers since i was forced to as i child with my mother cause i can't stand the smell. fish mongers aye, butchers naw!

I love meat so i'm no help haha

Omg?! It's gross ! I take my 2 into the garden when they have tripe lol and I make sure I don't breathe thru my nose...really is stinky stuff!

nah it's not that bad i stood and hacked up 15kg in my kitchen

hacked would have to be the word, see trying to cut it into chunks earlier...wasnt the easiest even with my biggest knife...although maybe my knives are just * lol

So emm... Diesel seems to be just shredding the hoof all over the house!! I mean she's loving it and keeping her very entertained, but JESUS what a mess!! it seriously doesn't look like she has ate any of it

Oh my two just eat the hoof whole no mess at all they don't like to waste food. Although a hoof is eaten in about 10 mins

Haha i use my big cleaver to cut up tripe and such things!

lucky you it looks like its been snowing in my living room! been trying to pick the bigger flake up and feed her them but she's not interest

maybe she doesn't like them, although most dogs do happily try and eat them

who knows but she certainly likes chewing it if nothing else...
