I need advice and quickly

I was on my way home with all the dogs after a night walk, just up in front of mine a cop car pulled over and shown a touch straight at Blondy he called me over but I ignored him, pretended I didn’t hear and I walked into mine, I got the dogs in and sent them upstairs, I was about to close the door when he knocked it. So i opened the door wider before I could say anything he said you got yourself a pit bull pup haven’t you Mrs Preece, I said no and said what breed she is and he said don’t take me as a push over Mrs Preece. We’ve had several reports and what I just seen confirmed it. I told him both her parents are staff cross jack Russell mate so I don’t know what your on about and you obviousely don't know your dogs mate, he asked to see them so I called them all downstairs he didn’t even look at Taz and Cassie just at Blondy, he asked me to bring the pup outside, I said no then he said fine I’ll come back with a warrant. P.C plod is a complete tosspot he’s had it in for me and siblings since my father kicked his * in school, he gave my step dad a ticket for being parked in the correct space when there was neighbours parked on a double yellow. Should I call Luke to come and get Blondy or just ignore him???
I do have proof that Cassie is Blondy's mum and he didn't even look at Cassie or accuse her of being a PT.
but if he does i'd lose Cassie too and maybe even Taz.
he is just a full rubber with legs but he has followed through with threats before.

Just think hes not a nice police man and hes trying to scae you. You can prove were your dog come from and dna can be done as you have mum and dad pillock go and catch some drug dealers instead of harrasing people taking there dogs for a walk >

I do have pictures of cassie with pups minutes old and its on her's and blondy's vet card and Taz's but i was told on here a dna would be of no use because all staffies somewhere along the lines came from PT i know blondy is no PT and neither are the others, and their brother is the fatest staff around here. I just know what this guy is like and he gets what he wants in the end.

None of your dogs look like pitbulls, especially blondy, you could pass her off as a lab! He's just being a prat. It wont stand up in court, they'll take one look and say she's not pitbull.

lodge a complaint against him , go to citizens advise , get all your proof together , maybe even try speak to your vet , get his prof opinion in writing have all you can available incase this balloon does come back with a warrant . if you lodge a complaint , tell them this copper put you in a state of fear and panic when he was at your door , ( was he alone ) ?

nothing worse than a idiot with a bit of power! stand your ground and tell go get his warrant till then he cant do squat.its very doubtfull he will get a warrant on the basis "well judge i seen the pup and it sorta looks like a pt".as long as you got papers saying she a staff hes gunna look real stupid if he does get a warrant.

as far as i know they gotta have absolute proof its a pit before they can do anything.

also if he was alone he shouldnt be asking to see the a dog he (suspects) of being viciouse woulda been his own fault if he got bit!

I would lodge a complaint as said a million times before blondy is NOT "type" at all, u should of just said she was a lab puppy he would of probably believed u lol x

As everyone else has said. Get your proof together, get your vet to write statement saying he saw blondy when she was a pup, knew which dog her mother was etc. Also if it comes to it DNA will prove that she is the puppy of Cassie and Taz which will prove shes not a pit.

i'm sure you'll be fine since sh doesn't even look like a pitbull, i mean look at those ears and her little face!

No offence to any police officers but you do get allot of power strucken pumped up people when they put that uniform on.
I wouldn't even worry about it, they will never come and take blondy when it's clear she isn't an american pitbull

Also they dont neccesarily have pitbulls taken away and put down they assess them and if they think they are no danger to the puplic you can have them back but they have to be muzzled out doors and they tattoo them with a code so they can be reconised. i wouldnt worry about it to much you can clearly see that she is no pitbull coppers are just ******* on a power trip well not all of them but alot are.

I'll get all the proof together Taz and Cassie have their boosters next weeks, ill have a dna and vets opinion writen, thanks guys.

Great advice from everyone. The most strange fact is that looking at her picture on your avatar I agree with blaze she doesn't even look in the slightest "type". What's more if she is an SBTxJRT then I'm guessing she is smaller than the average SBT. The only thing I'd add is that each police force have a specialist(s) trained to make an educated anaysis on this matter and whilst they might pay you a visit on this chaps recomendation I would think they would leave pretty quickly.

I've said this before but I also know many people who have JRT X staffs and one is 3/4 staff and 1/4 JRT. They are all taller than your average purebred/papered stafford, think once you cross them with terrier type which has much lighter bone structure and longer limbs then what would be the tibia in us lengthens and they get taller!

i see you live in wales, apparently (im not sure what they are called or where in wales they are) but there is a soliciters that deals with all this sort of thing. It might be worth trying to find them, also i would see about making a complaint of harrasment against said police officer.

You may find they were just doing it to scare you, and nothing comes about it, but if something does come of it id also ask for names of who have given them "reports" that your dog is apparently a PBT.

Well i got back from class about an hour ago on my arrival i bumped into a copper on my door step (steven), he wanted to look at Blondy AND Cassie now wasn't cassie the other day, but anyway i invited him in let him out the kitchen after he insisted i put the dogs on leads or in the crate. so he came out he looked at the dogs and said so where are the ones that look like PBT i said the blonde one was PCplods first accusation and her mother and father are in there with her. he laughed actually laughed and said you can let them out now, so i did he peted them scruppled up a piece of paper, I said i'm sick of PC plods accusation and harrasment because this isn't the frist time. he made a note of it gave me his number and said if PCplod (used his actually name foreign) calls and speaks with you again about any matter let me know and then he left. commenting on how gorgeous they were because he had a staffy and his german shepherd lol.

just for future ref , the police wouldn't be allowed to give out names of anyone who reported the dogs as pbt , but tbh i very much doubt anyone has reported them , by the sound of this copper is been all his little game
