...a single firework so far this eve.

It's bliss, although Diwali is soon so that may be a noiseathon here and there but for tonight at least my lovely Dexter is lying down contentedly chewing his stag bar/falling asleep for ten minutes/chewing stag bar....repeat..

Just drove home from Bolton , nothing on the skyline and no noises , lets hope the shops have all ran out , though it has been a pretty painless experience for us

Breaks my heart and makes me angry that animals have to suffer like this. My twelve year old Ellie emailed our local mp last year, before we had a dog to protest about the noise and the distress it causes bless her. She will make a great animal rights activist one day!

We still have the odd idiot around here letting them off just to annoy people. Ohhhh where I would love to stick one..........................................

Still going on here now and again but starting to quieten down. Fortunately, Loki doesn't seem too bad with them. He got a little bit scared when he was in the kitchen when they were being set off next door yesterday, but not scared enough to run away or anything, so could be worse. Anyway, glad Dexter's nice and content why no fireworks where you live? Very weird.

Not a clue why it was so quiet, we are in between wolves and staffs in an area I've not lived in before but it is a very quiet part usually (unlike where we moved from, my god that was a place and a half!) so maybe nobody round here really likes them either! There is a large and very affluent asian community some 2 mile over though, so come 13th Nov it's going to be a nightmare I think, a festival of light i'm all for, but a festival of noise is not so good!

Some muppet was setting them off in the day........ My poor cat came running up the path with a trail of wee following him! He's never bothered by them at night as he can see where they are coming from so avoids the area...... But in the day, bless him, he had no idea where they were, just that they were VERY loud! xxxxxx

Diwali's a big thing round here as well. It's been quiet since monday, but next week............

Diwali is huge here on the garrison too, as we have a large Nepalese community....will have to enjoy the few nights peace till it starts again

Yes it sure is, people have been letting them off all weekend. I'm not one for revenge but I sure would be please if a rocket was to find its way up their bumholes lol xxxx
