Hi everyone really need help with toilet training Stanley is now 5 months old in all other areas he's fine its just this issue , he's a good boy its, gives paw, waits for his food etc, but he will just pee anywhere and not seem to care? If I really watch him all day I take him out at the right times and he goes in the garden no problem but if I miss that time he'll just go anywhere in the house, my question is shouldn't he know by now he needs to go out so maybe wait by the door? Or am I expecting too much?? I really don't know any advice greatly appreciated x

Some dogs learn quicker than others.

Make sure though you clean the area thoroughly though as he may be marking things Xx

Just keep up with what you're doing. Some dogs take longer than others, and make sure you're getting rid of the smell properly when you clean it up, cos sometimes they can still smell it and will go to the toilet there instead of outside.
