Swelling on neck after jabs

Hy Everyone,
My 8 month old staffie, Ronny had a tick last week on top of his head and is now on anti-biotics. He had 2 injections in the back of his neck last Thursday (anti inflammatry & anti-biotics). There is a big swelling now in that area - it is not bothering him but I am worried. My last staffie (George) died of cancer and the lump feels similar. We are back at the vets on Friday so he is going to be seen but I wondered if anyone else had this experience after jabs?

When Bella got her puppy jabs she got swelling on her neck at the jab site so it could be down to the jabs

agree, and puppies are awfully young to get cancers and skin tumors. You'll feel better after you get it checked I'm sure.

Hello All - thanks for your replies - I actually went to the vet when I got home from work as the swelling had got bigger - he had an abscess. The vet has drained it - he was so good and very brave - my little darling.
