Any ideas for my baby girl staffy name?

Hey everyone,
Please help!
I and hubby have been debating for ages our new baby girl name. We want to pick a name before she comes home.
The problem is, we cannot agree on anything! I don't know how we gonna do it with children!

So I think Lizzy, but he thinks it's a silly name for a puppy.
He says Bartha, and I don't get it!

Help us please!

Any suggestions will be so welcomed xxx

haven't got pictures yet, we'll take lots once we get her home.

She's tiny, adorable, cute, the sweetest thing ever -hmm this doesn't help much I just couldn't help myself

She's a sort of golden brown all around, can't remember any darker spots apart from tiny lil dark nose and those big beautiful eyes.

I want a sweet name, but hubby says that she will grow big, into a 'bad girl', and we have to give her justice

I want something to remind me of how little and adorable she is right now.

Well give her "Justice" then That's what he said you could shorten it to "Juzzy" it's better than Big Bertha I mean Bartha

You know, I actually don't dislike it...maybe like Jazzy?

Hi I've only had one girl and that was over 25 years ago she was an
american pitbull light brown in colour and we called her cookie
Lol and she was a big softie

I like Dizzy! Not sure why I just think its a good name for a staff!

hmmm...not a fan of Bartha...and yes, she will get big and stocky, but could be a huge wussy lap hound like mine. But you do realize you must post a photo if you want worthwhile advice.

Personally I would say Tilly but if she's going to be big then you have to have a sarcastic name like Tiny or Tinkerbell , what about Flossy

I adore Lilly, and honestly I can see the fun in Tiny.

I'm still also considering Jazzy or Dizzy.

I'm gonna upload a pic soon, honestly we haven't had her alone yet, but she's coming home in a few days.

She'll pick her own name!

I guess we could just call her a name every day, and pick the one she responds to

Poor baby, we would confuse her so much!

We need to make a decision, we could literally be getting her in the next 3-4 days.

Missy is now Moo, Princess turned out to be scrumpy, its all about the tone, they answer to anything

Ok, one thing I am sure of, she would not answer to Bartha.

I keep teasing hubby with that name, telling him the puppy will grow big and bite him for it

Bartha, well, its gonna be barth for short, maybe you and oh can come to an agreement that everytime you shout barth he owes you a warm bath, believe me you'll need it when pup comes along and its a perfect excuse

Dizzy is a very apt staffy name Dizzy bitch is one name I call Steff a lot

I like calling my lady staffie's really pretty girly names!! Haha that's such a good idea, thank you. I won't put my puppy through the pain of being called Bartha/Barth, but definitely my hubby will just owe me lots of bubble baths I mean, at the end of the day I'm the mummy, I deserve some praise.



I love Dizzy, I wanna go with it, but I think we may just about compromised at Lilly.

We love Nala. That is so cute and unique. I know it sounds weird, but to me it sort of sounds like Lilly, but for a dog...if you see what I mean (hubby says since we getting our pet I've gone abit crazy and I say weird stuff).
To be honest, I think it's more about feeling nervous, I just get the feeling that it's gonna be alot of responsibility and I want to feel prepared and do it right (so I don't panic down the road).

Ok So Lilly, Lola, Nala, Dizzy and Jazzy are on (hubby still pushes Bartha - but there's no way that's going through )

I've always wanted to call a bitch Silke (as in the German pronunciation - Silker) because it's feminine and describes their coat - silky.

My girls are Lily Mae and Lola Snow. Kizzy, Ruby and Marla are nice names for girls. You choose her first name and hubby choose her middle name!

That's actually a great idea, choosing two names, I love that. We compromised on Nala, we both love it.
