New vacuum? Empty New vacuum?

Post by Louise C Mon Oct 15 2012, 17:31

sorry if this is the wrong place Smile

I'm looking for a new vacuum and as Lola moults a lot it has to be good at getting up hairs on both laminate and carpet.

What have you got and what would you recommend?

We use a bissel clean view compact, it's small but then we only live in a two bed flat and only 3 rooms have carpets, but it's powerful for it's size and picks up dog hair with out a problem, there are more powerful versions available

We have the vax mach air something or other and it was a 'cos we can't afford a dyson' buy, very good hoover and their aftercare is great. We had to have a bit replaced after a year and it came next day and was a doddle to fit on.

I had a 6000 square feet business premises which got quite dirty daily, and my Henry never let me down once.

My other fancy-pants vacuums costing two or three times more than Henry used to block, stop sucking or burn out.

I use Henry at home now - switch him to hi power and he'll happily rip the dog hairs from the carpet.

Henry - under 100 quid.

The end. Laughing
