FISHING

ALRIGHTY GUYS ,
just wondering if anyone else is into a bit of fishing , all through my youth i've been mainly a trout and salmon man , with a bit of course fishing thrown in here and there , then around 5 years ago i got into my pike fishing , personal best currently stands at 25lb 8 oz ,

was down loch lomond sunday and blanked 1st trip of the year , anyone else been out and caught ??

when i was a wee lad i used to love night fighting well night drinking & sitting around a nice big fire, we did we get few fish mostly went for pikes and barbel, i used to fish the river trent

wish i could take the dogs but they have a love of sushi , and shady does nothig but bark when i get a fish in as i found out at a trout fishery to my amusment and the other anglers disgust lol

have you try trout before? i think it's nasty

I have 3 friends who love to fish. 2 of them fish then put the fish back and one fishes and eats. Each camp has strong views. Which one are you?. Personally, although I don't fish I don't see anything wrong with eating the fish you have caught, unless you are a vegetarian.

im not a big fish fan mate , love catching them , can handle some cod , haddock and some other white fish ,

well pike isn't widley veiwed as an eating fish in western europe , but eatern europeans love it i fish for the sport when it comes to course fishing , when im trout and salmon fishing , i keep my catch and either give it to the dogs , or the family .

i never try salmon it to smelly for me :-& trout is earthy not nice well i didn't like it, i watch fishing tv show and they all carry on like it the best fish to eat....

trout is a delicate flavour , being an almost qualifed chef , simplest wat to do it would be couple lemon slices in cavity big knob of butter salt pepper and squeeze of lemon juice , wrap in tin foil and whack in oven for 10 mins lol

I use to go fishing with my ex just on the pond at the back of my house and i actually use to catch them yes a women catching fish it was tench and carp in there i even got the biggest carp in the pond once and he was jealous cos he never caught it 22lb he did help me get it in though. I couldnt touch them though they were too slimey and always wriggled so he use to have to do the touching not been for many years now though. to be honest though it was just a good excuse to get drunk in the summer and catch a tan lol
