CHEWING HER PAWS!!

Sash started doing this last night but it seems (according to OH) that shes been doing this for ages. Now we've had an outbreak of them nasty critters (fleas) and ive only noticed her chewing her paws since noticing fleas on her. Her paws are now red and look quite sore.

She's going to the vets end of the month to get it checked out but can anyone give me an idea as to what it could be, has anyone had this before?; I will try and get a photo of the sores after work if she lets me.

You should really go to the vet straight away to get something sorted out for her fleas it could be down to this but the vet is the best person to tell you about the paws anyway , please post the pics of the sores anyway maybe someone can advise , you need to carefully check between her toes and see if you can detect any foreign bodies possibly grass seeds etc that can bother her

Just thought id let you know that Sasha stopped chewing her paws after we gave her a bath and washed inbetween her toes.

Shes all good now and hasn't chewed her feet since.. no trip to the vets needed.
