barking at bags, backpacks, the like

So Jelly's latest weirdness is that unattended bags get her VERY upset. she barks at them and won't budge if she sees one. Maybe she should be one of those airport dogs sniffing out terrorists!

Those bags can be very dangerous - she's just protecting you!

yes... she is very keen to protect against harmless, inanimate objects. she'd probably lick a mugger to death, tail wagging happily, but his rucksack would get a thorough telling off LOL

I love this stuff, she cracks me up!

or maybe she just really dislikes litterbugs!

Perhaps she knows something about them that you don't, nasty bags.

They have stages they go through as they grow. Two of which are fear periods, it could be she is in her first one.

that's true, could be. she is 7 months old now and doing her rebellious thing although not as bad (yet!) as I was preparing for.

the fear stuff is kind of funny though. she'll be walking along a pavement with gates to terraced houses, as one does in London, and though she'll have seen them a zillion times before, every now and then, one very naughty gate my creek a bit or there might be a person (who she has also probably seen before too) there in the footpath and she'll jump about 3 meters in the air then get in super 70's karate pose (dog version of course). cracks me! heaven forbid they have a backpack!

i'm sure it will pass, but it just kills me lol such a cutie!
