Tomato like seeds in pups poo?

I just took vinnie out and he had like weird seedy lookin things all throughout his poo.......(its the first time ive noticed it) im guessing its something bad ? Anyone have any answers

I'm sure that I read somewhere that it's a sign....but I believe live ones are like grains of cooked rice and dead ones look like sesame/tomato seeds.....

Might be worth phoning the vet tho. Unless Vinnie has eaten tomatoes!

Has he managed to eat anything he shouldn't?? Moo had red stuff in her poo the other day, she had eaten a pepper lol.

They are actually a bit larger than grains of rice, depending on the type, and they wriggled

BUT when I was looking online at the time, I'm sure I read that tomato/seseme seed looking ones are dead 'segments' of tape worm.....

Yes, he was wormed & flead about 3 days after we got him home, i havent seen any since so im guessing he had eaten something like a pepper as janey said lol :-) x

They's have been roundworms. You don't see the tapeworm itself, just the broken off segments. Worming tablets disolve tapeworms so you never actually see the worm itself.
