Hello fourm members! I heard about your site from a youtube video I was looking at about AmStaff's/ Pitt's. Ive owned AmStaff's/ Pitt's for about 35 years now and needless to say I would never consider any other breed. I moved here from So. Cal. about 7 years ago and being that I live out side the city limits in the "country" on a bit under five acres I love it and so do my dogs. There is no such thing as BSL in my county. My family used to breed Pitt's in the early to mid '80's but no longer. I currently have two dogs a Pitt's, a 15 year old male Grip that I've had since he was 7 weeks old and a 2 year old female Trasea (Irish for strong) we call Tessa. Tessa's sire Marley) is a certified search and rescue dog for an organization called P.A.W.S in Newton County Missouri. When the EF5 tornado in Joplin came thru in May 2011, Marley found 5 people in the debris that was left behind.

Hi and welcome! We do have bsl in the US but it is at the local govt level. Google bsl in the us and places like Miami will be there. Glad to have a few more Pitt/amstaff people from the USA here (mine are all sbt though)!
