List of dry food recommendations below. Burns would be a better quality dry food than the wainwrights. The better the quality of food the less you need to feed. Not all dogs are the same though. We are currently changing Rocky food from James Welbeloved to Barking Heads. He had quite bad bottom burps on the JWB.

Wainwrights dry food
Medium size dog (12-25kg) - 215 to 335g per day

Burns dry food
Medium size dog (18kg - 20kg) -180g - 200g per day

Are you talking wet or dry?

If dry then there's not much in it, if wet then Wainwrights is a good deal better IMO, it's a good deal better than both dry too so if it was a choice between the four then I'd go with Wainwrights wet trays.

My puppy Rosco loves the green wainwrights trays, even more than his fish for puppies so i've started mixing a bit in with his biscuits.
He just seems to pick at his dry biscuits, never gulps them down like he does his trays, just spent £42 on a big bag too Sad

I think if wainwrights suits your dog stick with it. Though Burns is a very good food, it will probably work out a little more expensive. It's entirely up to you.

You feed your dog on whats best for your dog and you,

only take "advice" from dog walkers when they have your dog (never), listen and make your own decision or ...

My dog/puppy is on Wainwright atm, I don't have a Chem lab to test if its super awesome compared to another, but I think it is OK as a majority of his diet. As all dog food is made by human for human to feed to a dog, dogs can feed them selves

soz ranted

My Blu is on Wainwrights now and enjoying it, he does not make as many nasty whiffs on Wainwrights either. He used to eat Wagg till I read on here about feeding decent quality food, but although he did enjoy his Wagg he did tend to whiff a bit, all silent but deadly. (I used to blame the missus, didnt go down well lol)

A friend was feeding his SBT on wainwrights but a dog trainer told him to change it to well beloved because his pup was too hyperactive, I've just read on the net that wainwrights is same company as well beloved?? What's people's thoughts on wainwrights making their pup too hyperactive?

Hi

I have had a kc purebreed staffy with severe food & skin allergies.

I tried everything under the sun & nothing made a difference until i switched to Burns Pork & potato kibbles, she loved them and after 4 years of trying different foods/diets etc her coat finally looked tip top condition.

I am raising my current puppy on burns as i was that impressed.
