Strange power cut last night

Sitting watching tv last night,heard a load of burger alarms going off.Looked outside and everyone on the opposite side of the street and surrounding areas had a power cut,apart from my side of the street.The street lights this side had gone but that was it. This side of the street is obviously superior. Or on a different grid. I like to think its the first option

Well yes far superior of course Lisa, but also probably on a different grid too, sorry. how long was it off for ? have been expecting ours to go off soon too we just had a thunder storm which usually does kick ours off.

lol,it was off for about an hour.I knew it had come back on when the house alarms stopped going off lol.

Strange haha. Ours is the same, our neighbours is the last house on the towns grid, my house is on the next one, so if the town goes out i have family coming to my house cause they have no leccy!
