Our new addition _ Saffy Update

Just forgot to say, we are thinking about calling her either Ruby or Saffy (Sapphire) because her mum is called Diamond. So thought we'd keep it in the family

And shes 7 weeks 5 days today and weighed in at 4.5KG last Friday. Don't know what that means in puppy terms tho lol, just thought I'd add for ref for other guys who browse the forum.

Thanks everyone! Yep shes a cutey! We've decided to call her Saffy

Second night in her new home and she cried all night last night

But I didnt give in, so she should settle by the end of the week. Start as you mean to go on and all that. I think she may have ate some of her own poo during the night when I took her out for a wee in the garden. Or it could have been a slug It was dark so couldnt tell!

Hi,

I joined the forum last year when we got our little princess Saffy! Anyway I thought I would pop on and show you some pics of how she's getting on! Iv'e posted on my old topic so hopefully you may remember her, even though our time on here was brief...

She's 11 months at the moment and boy has she been HARD work!!!

From the off she was a little terror! Then she grew in to a bigger heavier terror and I will admit, a good few times I did question what I had done to us

BUT nowadays.....we wouldn't be without her!!!! All the hard work paid off and we have an absolutely loving, loyal, friendly member of the family whom I adore and I'm soo proud of! And she's certainly taught me a thing or two, which is always a good thing

Anyway, Saffy is still on RAW but is topped up every now and again with JWB kibble as she is not a good eater at all. She can go days and days without food and not bat an eyelid. She will however, eat human food till the cows come home, but I don't encourage this. So just for my peace of mind, I just supplement her diet with a bit of kibble so I know shes getting enough. Other than that shes always bright eyed and bushy tailed. No health problems etc. which is good.

Anyway, enough babbling....

Well, I am just in the middle of changing jobs to a one with MUCH more sociable hours, which means instead of Saffy going to work with the OH, she can stay at home with me all day

And I have got great plans for me and her.... sooo I will deffo post some pics of our adventures

Yeah she's grown into a fab little dog! One thing I don't understand is how she can look quite a small dog, yet WEIGH soo much! She's like a walking tank
