Stupid comments

We watched a show on tv 2nite, but cant remember which channel It was about Traffic Police, 1 part of this show was showing a woman set her 2 staffys on her boyfriend. This made me soooooo angry, stupid girl. She then toke herself off to the shop to try and steal something, anyway, the police were called and the whole thing turned into Benny hill. All her friends turned up, all drunk, and back up was called. As all this fuss was going on the 2 staffys just watched on. They cuffed a few, so was quite a seen!! Then this stupid officer made a comment that "this sort of dog can be quite dangourous" and i think he said " could turn at any time", He then approched the police car and told the girl "if she didnt shut up", They'd shot the dogs", So, if the dogs could turn at any time, why didnt they turn on the officers who was arresting their owner. Now, im not in anyway condoning the way she set her dogs on the boyfriend. People like her are hammering the final nail in the staffy coffin. The police went on to say about Status dogs. I hate this girl, thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!

The police officers should know better. OK it was probably just a comment made about shooting the dogs but if it was anyone else threatening to shoot your dog you would at least expect an appology and you would report them to the police. What right do they have to go mouthing off at people just because they are in a uniform does not mean they are above the law themselves.

I watched it also, I was so angry I couldn't post about it!

I hate scum like that, and the police just let her wonder round the cells! She was a complete joke.

I was thinking we are fighting a lost battle here...

It was a clear example of a failed police action, the police officers were helpless, they allowed all the drunk people get out of hand there and shout abuse.
With the dogs there all the time...
Did you see how one of those drunk blokes just held the dog so tight he was standing on his back paws, shouting at the police all the time.
No wonder the dogs are going mental with all the anxiety and aggression around them.
And then they put it on the telli with rescue centres full of staffies...

Actually I was told recently that "staffies are dogs for drug dealers" because "they look so angry all the time". And it was a police officer, off duty, met him walking Stella... His fluffy doggy was chasing up and barking at joggers and cyclists at the same time... Stella was on lead just looking friendly around...

see. this is why i dont watch TV. people around where i live have a fairly good attitude towards Romeo.... its people who are not from Finland, other forigners that have ann issue with him.
stuff like what you have discribed really hurts the cause and makes a heap more people scared of them..... disgusting

It was a good example of a bad owner. Considering they claimed " they dogs could change at anytime", i thought they were a little hyper/stressed but did not attack/show aggression towards police. It was discusting how the owner set the dogs on her boyfriend, the stuiped woman could of got her dogs killed

I missed that one (thankfully) but last night I was watching a recorded Road Wars (with my little girl who loves us to have a "Cop Night" where we watch cars being chased etc, I know, it's sad!)
A fully kitted out team raided a house, used the red key/ enforcer on the door, charged into the living room shouting, grabbed and cuffed everyone in sight ... whilst what appeared to be 2 "Staffy type dogs"(!) stood on the sofa, tails wagging waiting to be invited to join the fun. Gotta be careful though, they looked like they could turn at any moment ... and LICK everyone to DEATH! >

Glad i didnt watch that then,i would have broken the tv shouting at it
