Hi I'm new to this forum so I hope this post is OK. I don't see any classified ads so I was wondering if you can use this site to sell puppies? I don't want to sell any but I do want to buy one. My avatar picture is of my husband and his best friend, Beano. Beano has been sick for a while and we've been looking for a new puppy. Locating one has been very difficult. Last week we buried Beano in our family cemetery and my husband is beyond lonely. If any one can help me I would really appreciate it. Thank You

Hi and welcome from us and Suki. We don't allow advertisements on here. Have you checked your local rescue center as there are always many needy dogs in need of a loving home

OK sorry about the post then. We live it a very small rural community, we don't even have a rescue center. Plus we have other dogs but we really want another Staffy.

Don't worry about the post we are here to help where we can and rural communities in the US often don't have shelters. Staffys are way to frequently given up on and end up in a shelter though.

If you were considering rescuing as an option you could look at a nearby area that does have a shelter or do an internet search for a local breeder if you have your heart set on a pup. Best of luck and again welcome to the forum.

I'm sure they have staff pups in shelters too. You might need to look at your state shelters.

Hi welcome. If you are set on a staffy please call all the shleters in your state and some outside of them and see if they have any, staffs are rare in the USA but they do crop up sometimes.

I agree it's harder to find Staffies here in the US. This site will give you links to breeders and there are rescues on here as well. When I looked, before we got Callie, many of the rescue dogs were Staffie crosses, but you might have some luck--hope you do.

Sorry for your loss, im sure if you put a internet search in for staffys you will find a breeder who will ship a pup to you.

Welcome. I agree it is hard to find an SBT out west. I had to have mine sent from VA. You have to look hard to find them and then get detailed information on their breeding stock to make sure you know what you are getting. Let me know if you have more questions on how to find SBT breeders in the USA.
