good day at the park

We took Callie to a popular park today-it's a favorite of mine and I've been looking forward to taking her but wanted to be sure she could handle the commotion.
She had a blast-met probably 30 pepole and a dozen dogs. She was as friendly as could be, even listened pretty well. A poodle (!) and a chow both charged at her but she darted away, didn't growl or get upset.
And people loved her-either knew she was a Staff or thought a pit bull, but only nice comments about either breed. With all the BSL talk here that was reassuring!
Just wanted to share with you guys.

Ah she is such alittle cutie no wonder everyone loved her shes only abit younger than my little girl Ava its SO scary the first few times you let them mix with other dogs they are like your babies, glad callie had fun x

crystel--Callie's mom's name is Ava, I love that name, she is what sold us on getting a Staffy. Your Ava (and Skye) is a cutie!

(and why is it that the unfriendliest dogs are the poodles, dacshunds--am I spelling that right?-- little terrier things that no one complains about? She had the best time with a pit bull and 2 huge German Shepherds. Just saying...)
