Sooooo angry, need to rant!!

Arrrrgggggghhh just taken the pooch for a walk with my son only to get to the village playing field to realise there is a fete on. Noticed a couple of dogs walking around the stalls so walked back home to fetch my purse. Got back to the field now really fancying a mooch around the arts and crafts, only to be told no dogs allowed.

The guy asked if I would tie her up somewhere but I said she would just cry the whole time. I asked why if no dogs allowed then how come I saw a poodle in there only 10 minutes ago. He said he wasn't aware of any dogs in the field. He then looked at my dog and said 'I can't let you in especially because there are children playing' grrrrr I had my own 7 year old with me at the time and Rosie was obviously on a lead. The penny dropped and I said 'oh I get it, it's not that dogs aren't allowed, only certain types' he ignored my comment and we left.

Man, I am soooo angry! How friggin rude!

I have found an email address for the church who ran the fete. But I'm hoping a rant on here will curb my need to give them a piece of my mind poor Rosie

That would totally p*** me off too, i would write them a letter but not an angry one just showing your upset that because of your dogs breed not being allowed in is discusting and for a church imo shouldnt be judging no one not very christian like imo!!!!

That's why I posted on here before writing an email. If I had done it straight away I would have ended up being just as rude as they are and that would never end well! need to calm down first. (not quite there yet though! Lol)

I would have asked where is the sign that says No Dogs Allowed

He did say there were signs but I didn't see one. Nothing on the posters and noting at the entrance. Regardless of signs I saw a dog in there so it's one rule for one and another for staffy owners.

I've experianced people picking their dogs up when Rosie is around but never any actual face to face discrimination I hope I never do again!

i would send an e-mail asking for the churches stance on discrimination. when they reply with the fact it is wrong etc etc i would then send another letting rip!

Christian or not, just plain rude IMO hubby offered to take the dog down and see if they would turn him away......don't think that would help matters lol I can imagine him just walking in, and of challenged telling them to f.off and carrying on lol

That would have upset me as well. Espically at a church

I would definitely email them to complain!
