so how hot is it over there? are you guys in summer yet?
we are a week away from the start of winter and desperately need rain here..
our summers often have days of over 40 degrees and it is horrible!!

I love the sun, so geogreous and making the most of it for sure whilist its here lol.

Yes, it's supposedly summer here, but it isn't as hot as over there! It's about 26/27 degrees here at the moment with a bit of a breeze. Not too bad, but I wouldn't want it any hotter!

Hope you get the rain soon. I remember talking to some people in Australia a couple of years or so ago when you had all those awful forest fires - it was horrific.

yes Caryll we have had some horrific bush fires the last few years.....including one south of where we live that was caused by a govt department ( Dept of Conservation and Land Management ) What a joke!! It was in the high 30's there was a very strong easterly wind blowing and they were flying over all the thick bush and shooting flame throwers into it to start a 'prescribed and controlled' burn.. Of course it got out of control..houses burnt to the ground and the loss of animal life was appalling and oh so so sad.... They would have died in agony...
