Off to Oxford today with hubby and Rocky.

Andy needs to see a doctor at the Oxford teaching hospital about his knee, will hopefully get some answers as to what can be done with it.

The guy Andy saw is able to do the operation which will be a partial knee replacement which will involve: resurface the patela (which is the kneecap) and give it a metal groove to sit in on the femur. Along with a complete lateral release and lengthening the ITB, restructuring soft tissues including extending the VMO(which is a muscle).

He is a least now on the list to have it done, which should be sometime this year, then with a years recovery after the op.
