My new snake racks! Only took me 3 hours, built it and did all the electrics by myself, and who said lasses can't do DIY Wink

Very impressed with your handy work, although still not won over by having snakes as pets. Do they not need a tank with play things?!

I personally see them as pets, like i've given them all names. But i do no of people that see them as a 'collection' and don't name them etc

Looks great, well done. I like snakes but I couldn't have them as pets just because of having to feed them, I'm a wimp with things like that Laughing

What snakes do you have? I've only got a corn snake but I don't have the room for any more Sad If I used RUB's I could have more but I personally prefer viv's

I'm not going to get into the debate about rubs over vivs, but i have:

4 corns
boas
pythons
kings
milks
rats
hognose

etc etc most of mine are sub adult, some will get vivs once older some will stay in rubs. Plus if only have one corn why not just stack the vivs, they don't really take up much room

Great job, very neat looking. Do you ever feed life food. What do your dogs think of all the snakes ? When on holiday do you let them out in case your are burgled? Imagine the reaction of the thief lol.

No there's no need to feed live food and the boys just ignore them most of the time.
