one year since sasha missing her lots

hi i am andy and its been 1 year since i lost my 16 year old sasha nothing could have propared me for having sasha taken away from me, one night she was fine the next day she could not even hold herself up , she was everything you could of ask for in a dog , my partner julia was always in the garden turning the soil and cutting the shrubs while sasha would just lay watching the world go by , the day she left us i felt that the world crumbled under my feet the tears i had shed for family members when i had lost them was nothing compared to the tears i shed for sasha . she has been missed daily and we were so luck to have her in our life.the most loyal freind a man could ever have , i always used to say to people however bad your dogs day has been they will always be happy to see you when you walk through the door.

3 months after sasha i needed to have another staffy in my life that i could give my all to as i could never replace sasha but could may be fill a void that was there everyday ,so after a long search we gave a 8 week old staffy by the name of ice a home she is now 9 mths ,

love you sasha, ps ice has picked up some of your tricks like resting her head on my leg and giving me the soppy eyes when i am eating, and loves sitting in the garden watching the birds

Hi andy, so sorry to hear of your loss of Sasha one year ago. Sounds like she was quite an act to follow.

Seems that we all have lost a very good friend somewhere along lifes great highway and we can only hitch a ride along again.

what a beautiful girl your Sasha was... your post brought a tear to my eyes.

I know exactly how you feel. Went through it with my previous dog Sam.

One day was fine, then one night had a fit next to my bed in the early hours. Went to the emergency vet and lost him that night, just like that

He is missed greatly and could never be replaced, but now I love Troy for the dog he is and I love Sam for the dog he was.

So sad Andy. Glad to hear Ice is filling some of the void. I lost my old boy three years ago at 17. They become such a large part of our lives.
