what wrong?

i mated my girl last night and got a few probelms can you help before i take her to the vet please.thanks

well at the time of mating last night she bleed quite a bit took her home and shes very depressed wont eat and has been sick this morning was also shaking last night has now stopped would like to add first attempt at mating didnt work didnt get a tie he just got off tried again 20 mins later and worked ok.blood loss started after first attemp.thanks.

but still very down in the dumps

yes im going to today just trying to sort transport have u heard of anything like this before

ok i have looked all over the internet and cant find anything they did tie sucessfully after one failed attempt think this may od caused the probelm not sure so vets it is thanks

Hiya, sorry I'm not help but I'd say vets is your best bet just to be safe, it could all be completely normal but better to just get her checked anyway hope she is ok.

Hi and welcome from us and Suki. I haven't breed before so no personal experience. I would advise a trip to the vet to be safe.

thanks keeping an eye on her for moment then if no better we off to vet.the bleeding has slowed right down now but shes still not her self.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Wish I could help but I have only had males. Perhaps you can give the vet a ring or perhaps speak to the owner of the sire?

hi yes ive done both vet said see how she is today shes a little better but wont eat so keeping a close eye on her shes sleeping alot more as well.spoke to the owner of stud he said he had seen it before but not quite as bad.so just hoping she picks up a bit.thankyou

Have I got this right. she bled after first attempt and you tried again?

Sorry I dont have an experience of matings but sounds like she could have some internal injury. Best to seek advice from your vet ASAP.

thanks everyone looks like my baby is on the mend has eaten and seems like shes almost back to normal fingers crossed.

hi she seems to be ok now eating and drinking again and blood loss returned to what it was b4 she was mated.
