Potential poison warning - Xylitol

Hi, the missus here. I am also on a food forum.

One of the regular and reliable posters has two dobies and is a careful and responsible owner.

She has just posted on the food forum that Xylitol ( a sugar substitute) can be fatal to dogs. Apparently, the equvalent to two spoonfulls (for example in a hot drink) can kill.

It is similar to insulin and is found in sweets and confectionary.

If this has come up before, apologies, but a heads up. ><

I had never heard of the product but this person who mentioned it on another forum is a long time dog lover/owner.
