Crying Devistated....

Post by lmjc90 Tue Feb 28 2012, 03:07

So I've just found out my previous neighbour who I am friends with her husband has reported
Me for having scarlet and told them I intend to use her to fight and breed fighting dogs! I am gutted to say the least ism beyond sared of getting her taken off me! He told them I should not have this breed as apparently the "
ferocious"! He threatened to take her off me there and then so I said good bye to my friend and
Ran out of her house! I am actually losing sleep and panicking like mad (which doesn't help as I suffer from
Panick attacks and sever anxiety). She is my baby girl and she means the world to me all I can do is cry I'm terrified Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Some people are clueless and also heartless, don't worry you and your dog will be fine, it could be even worth reporting him for threatening to take your dog (aggravated theft or threat there of).but speak to your friend first and see if it was just a misunderstanding

tbh, you really have nothing to worry about, if the dog's well fed, exercised and isn't aggressive then you have no worries. but i'd steer clear of that ah and probably advise your friend the same

oh and the rspca don't work that fast, they took over 12months in oxfordshire to visit an animal sanctuary that was reported for cruelty then turned up to a lot of dead or starving animals

Awwh bless! Where i stay they usually do I report someone across the road as they were abusing there ABD and they were here next day! I think they respond fast as there are some family's around here that have dog fighting camps and houses set up for it. But for anyone to think I'd do that to an animal is ridculous I love dogs more than life and my girl means the goddamn world to me! I even got upset when my goldfish died! Lol

oh what a nasty man!
don't worry, as long as you tell your side of the story and show the RSPCA how well you really treat your dog, there is no evidence of dog fighting in your house, you can even show them this forum so they know you are looking out for the well being of your pup all the time.
you have nothing to worry about so long as you stay away from that guy!

lol, you'll be fine. there's no reason for them to be there, they may even offer help toward neutering cost or micro chipping. but don't worry, all should be fine. just sit down with them and calmly talk your way through, you'd be surprised at what a help they can be when not bogged down in paperwork and the such

Yeah I wouldn't give her up without a fight either! I just feel annoyed and upset the guy has known me for 2 years why he is doing this I do not know! My partner had 2 staffies go for him as there owners had obvisoly trained them to go for people, but yet when I got scarlet he changed his tune and understands how much love they give! Just don't know why people can't be as understanding as my partner Sad

Not being funny , but sounds like he may be straight off an episode of the Jeremy Kyle show, obviously a comnplete k@@b that could do with a couple of slaps to bring him back down to earth. Unless you've a history of taking part in dog fighting I can't understand where he would come up with this idea from and it sounds to me like he just wants to scare you away , do you have a really close relationship with your friend , is there not a bit of someone just trying to drive you away in this one. People with no brains normally retaliate in ways like this as they are incapable of talking

laura honestly dont worry about it. you have a baby in your house not a big nasty dog. so long as they can see you are looking after the dog and it well cared for they will not take her away. staffies are not a banned breed here so they have no just cause.

I would surely be giving the twit a wide berth..some 'people' just love to stir up trouble. Yes he may be jealous because you and his wife get on so well.. What a moron..I would say you have nothing to worry about too...try not to worry too much, though I can understand how upsetting this is for you.

My goodness what ignorant people exist in the world. Does this person have children? If so you should report them to the social services for child abuse-they certainly work a lot faster then the RSPCA!
There hasn't been any genuine dog fighting in england for almost a century (I don't mean scummy idiots in back alleys but proper organised pits)
I really feel for you having to put up with so many uneducated, newspaper munching morons. Remind me never to go to Leeds! (Unless it was to meet Scarlet of course Wink )
I haven't heard anything so ridiculous since a woman in the park said she loved staffies but wouldn't have one around the children because of 'lockjaw.' I kindly informed her that lockjaw is a bacterial infection and no living animal alive is capable of 'locking' it's jaws as they are organic flesh and blood and not machines.
I would understand if you kept your dog tied to a treadmill in a basement but to report someone just because they dislike your personal choice of dog breed is extreme and reactive to say the least. I've never understood people with a vendetta agaisnt certain dog breeds-I can understand (just about) someone disliking dogs in general but to hate a certain type that much just doesn't make any sense to me.
Its like me going around denouncing all black cats to be witches familiars and burning them on bonfires but stopping to stroke ginger ones.

People can threaten other people about whatever, as much as they want. When it comes down to do it, if solid prove doesn't meet any threats when investigated, the person making the threat looks a god damn fool. You got nothing to worry about. I really feel for all those that get grief about their dogs. Sad

Honestly, why do people jump on the media bandwagon .. I hate sheep ! I would throw a comment to the next person to say it's a dangerous dog, something like questioning them with 'Have you seen this breed on the dangerous dog register then ? Since when did you become a f.....g professional ?'. Idiots !
