very old pics of our GSD - Zeus

These pics are just about 20-22 years old, me and my hubby had him for about 3 years then my eldest was born and he used to snarl and growl at him, so my friend took him. He died when he was 10 of cancer. He as one wild dog.

completely missed that topic, wow sabre is such a good looking dog,

theyre a good looking breed. sabre suffered with hip displacia as well poor boy.

same with zeus, they are known for it.

so how did we go from big boys to the little ones. bit of a jump in breed that isnt it my son told me that staffies dotn malt they just loose hair liek we do. me thinks he lied to me cos he knew after sabres coat i didnt want all the hairs again. but at least lkemmy's are shorter so theyre not as noticable. sabres used to fly over the room like tumble weed and god forbid he jumped in a muddy puddle my god. but at least he liked the bath lemmy looks like he would make a good advert for the RSPCA when he's in it

i could have stuffed a quilt a month, with his fur, we used to have to brush him everyday. Thank goodness staffys have small hairs, bath time was horrendous cause he was so tall and very heavy
