Puppy Socialisation Empty Puppy Socialisation

A puppy's most crucial learning age is from the day it is born until approx 5 months of age. During this time a puppy's ability to learn is at its greatest, although it continues to learn throughout its life, but at a slower rate. By socialising and introducing your puppy now, to lots of new experiences you can help to avoid future problems. Choose a different subject each week, this will include things at home and on walks. Take things gradually, this will help avoid frightening it. On the socialisation chart tick off each time your puppy has one of the experiences.
