Got my new camera

I have been a little caught up lately researching for our forthcoming holiday to Bali in a few weeks (and somehow became the travel agent/organiser for a friend's 50th in Bali late Jan 2013).
In amongst that and work commitments I have also been researching camera's as I wanted to get a DSLR before our trip.
Finally I made a decision in the camera store today, I went in to buy a SONY a65 but ended up with a Nikon 5100. Now all I have to do is work out how to use it.

Get practicing then .....................................

It's dark over here now Janey and my two dogalogs are fast asleep.

I'll try and take a pic or two before I go to work tomorrow.

That was an excellent choice of camera to get. Then I am biased towards Nikon as I have a D700.

I've got a Sony Cybershot and always leave it on the green for idiot setting , would love a really expensive DSLR but would still end up using the idiot setting so not a lot of point, lets have some more of them lovely doggy photos Lee

I just bought a Canon D550, although was tempted to get a Nikon .. very impressed with the Canon though, hope you are with yours !

Nikon is a good brand

I've just taken a couple and yes it's still on P & S at the moment.

I would love a good camera. Looking forward to lots of pics
