tia was spayed last tuesday ,she had a check up on friday and alls well, stitches out this coming friday, however it makes me laugh the vet saying make sure she doesn't jump ,run etc its like mission impossible first of all no long walks = no tired dog on a evening , no jumping = after being lifted on to setee i'll jump across the arms onto the other setee, favourite playing toys taken away ie balls and ropes = chew my slippers up but when i look at her and she gives me that "what me no you must be mistaken" look all i can do is laugh Laughing

I do sometimes wonder if vets live in the same world as staffy owners!

We had exactly the same problem with Sophie last month. We brought her holiday crate into the lounge to pop her in if we needed the loo or to leave the room. We ended up putting the dining chairs up-ended on the sofa whilst it was not being sat on Laughing

We kept her occupied by buying her extra chewy toys (rawhyde bones etc) and doing things like treasure hunts hiding treats around the room for her to find to keep her occupied. Smile
