Finally kaos arrives

Finally after spending weeks on this site, I purchased an adorable little blue staff! As I said I would keep you posted, welcome not storm , but kaos! She suits the name really well. Since arriving yesterday she has pulled over plants, bins allsorts, it's like looking after a baby!! Photos imminent !

However I do have to ask she is 8 weeks on Thursday, how much should I be feeding her. I've been given some dried food called Eukanuba :-) not sure if it's any good! But how much should she be having. Is she considered a large or medium dog? Plus she drinks like there's no tomorrow is that normal?

I feed murphy as a medium adult when grown is that helps. He drinks a lot too not sure if its normal or not though. Congrats on your new addition

Dogs on dry food generally drink alot more than a dog on wet and some drink more than others my skye drinks more than my vinnie .. Congratulations on your new additiom, i see the name is suiting her well haha!! .. Lool forward to seeing piks

I always feed a good quality dry food, ORIJEN PUPPY which has one of the highest meat content's out of all the foods, and award winners.

Puppy's will drink more on dry foods, as long as she's bright eyed and lively nothing to worry about, but if you are always mention it to the vet.

I'm sure Skye would love to meet her one day hehe, congrats

I think eukaneba is ok quality wise, but I wouldn't use it personally due to all the animal testing they do, when you get 5 minutes google it and also Procter and gamble. I think anyway!

she is gorgeous, is that the food the breeder gave you that she was already on?

She is gorgeous. Love her name, very appropriate. If she is on Eukanuba you will see the measurements on the side of the pack. It goes according to her age and weight (staffies are considered a medium breed (up to 23kg). It is usually something like 2.5 cups which is divided into three meals a day. Check the pack for more info.

Thanks guys/ girls she is a cute but she most defiantly fits the name now. I'm just trying to stop her biting everything, I find the only time she doesn't is when she's tired. I've never known such sharp teeth! I'm having to resort to getting a pen, as she is just constantly attacking everything lol.

The other three dogs in my parents house won't go near her, every time they get close she keeps jumping up and down and yelps! She just seems to playful, but she's landed on one of them, ever since that they are too scared. Its almost like holding her front paws up, dead cute but for other dogs quite intimidating.

As for calling her name, I may as well just shout anything since she takes no notice lol. I've defiantly wouldn't swap her for the world though, she is just a cheeky sod!

As for food yeah Eukanuba is what I got from the breeder, I've picked up some Wainwright from the pet store where I live out of all the crap they had, this seemed the best and she is eating like a monster. Although I've heard that Fish for food is quite good, I've not had a good read yet. However I'm guessing one of those 15kg bag will last some time?
