advice needed !!!

Hi all!

Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, in the last week my 15 month old staffy keeps digging underneath the gate to get out, he has never done this before. We keep filling up the holes to stop him, but now he has resorted to breaking the pailings and digging just to get out, the gate is a total mess. Can anyone give me any advice to stop him from digging? would the digging to get out be because he can sense another dog on heat? TIA!

Sorry about the digging. I have only experienced this when my boys have been trying to get to the other side of the fence. Luckily we are able to escort them outside to deter them from trying. At first they would try but stop when corrected. Now they don't try. My guess is you have to break the habit. Do you keep Chucky outside? Can you completely block off the gate or put pavers over the soil?

We bury a couple of pieces of Vlad's poo whenever he goes through a digging thing, and we bury it in the hole he's dug. He hates his own poo... even though he finds other dog's and our cat's a yummy treat!

Wow Mia would think all her Christmases had come at once if she discovered one of her poos in a hole she dug!! Dirty girl still has a sly nibble on it when she thinks we'r not looking!!

It makes me want to puke when I see I'm eating poo! He loves the cat's! She only poo's every other day and we clean it up straight away... but in the event we don't get to her littler in a timely fashion, Vlad cleans it for us! YUCKO!

Ha ha they can be dirty little buggers!! Mia also has a liking for cat poo or any poo in all honesty!!
