Staring...

Lola came back from her walk and since then she's just sat staring at me...
She did everything while she was out and had a good run... so why is she staring at me!!

Any suggestions??

Maybe she wants to play, Moo sits and stares at me, usually when I'm on here and not paying het attention lol Xx

She might just want attention. Is she hungry?

Suki usually does it if she wants to play or eat. They can be very energetic at that age

You are her world !!!!!!! that is the loyalty between a human and a dog when the bond is at its strongest my bet is she is just waiting for your next command or movement and she will be right at your side do the test and go upstairs /outside see who follows you with adoring eyes

She sits whining at me, she's eaten, had a good run, played with, had her treat and I am at a loss!! xxx

Okay I am still learning about my staffy, perhaps she just wants some loving fuss? My Pixee loves that and will settle down. She does stare at me, I am having to learn what she means, (Only had her since yesterday from blue cross) so far I have worked out, it means toilet, walkies and food. Sometimes she sits and stares at me, after a walk, play, feed, (today) so I gave her some loving fuss, and guess what she settled down by my feed now.

Bella does that when she wants to play or wants a cuddle. Sometimes takes a bit of working out though. She stares, I reach down to pick her up and she runs off. She comes back and stares so I open the door, nope not that either. she comes back a third time, and this time she DOES want cuddles! Actually, I probably get the cuddles in the end because she is feeling sorry for the daft human who can't work out what she is wanting

Right, I have an idea. Go and stick the TV on and then sit down on the sofa then slide off it onto the floor and invite her over for love and cuddles. She should come over and want to snuggle gently with you. Talk to her, tell her stories, comment about the news or whatever is on TV.
She's looking at you for a little extra love, I do believe. Junior will do this sometimes, and I believe it's asking for love and just asking to be close to someone familiar. Everyone needs a cuddle x

when Zac wants to come up for cuddles on the sofa with me, he sits down in front of me, looks up and then gives a tiny whine like a baby LOL .... that usually works a treat and then he is snuggled up in my arms and asleep in literally minutes!!

For going outside he sits and stares and if he is hungy he normally starts mouthing or trying to bite LOL
