iPad help

If post a smilie first then I can't post a message and have to go back and edit the post, is this what other people do

My girlfriend got me an Ipad2 for xmas!

Apple for life! - 15" macbook pro - Ipad2 - Iphone4 -

Soon to sell my macbook and upgrade to the 27" Imac!

Ill go on my Ipad now and see if i get the same thing with the smilie...

It seemed to work fine on mine. What iPad are you using? Mines a 2 so I don't know if that would make any difference?

How strange. Does it just insert the smilie then stop allowing you to write? Does the keyboard remain up after you insert a smilie?

I take it you mean going into the actual smilie menu and clicking on one ? I just type it in .. mainly because I'm too inpatient lol

Same here but I put in smile face and then hit preview. Then I put in the text.

Hopefully either method helps, it's a bit of a pain, probably something to do with safari browser, I'll install opera browser and see if the problem remains.

Ok on opera browser now, quoted myself to try and replicate the issue.



Nope, problem has gone completely, browser is faster too, forgot how much I like opera considering its all I use on my pc..

Anyway, if it's a massive issue for people on iPhones or iPads, opera browser is free in the app store

Opera is an awesome Mobile browser
