MURPHY just longs for it i honestly believe if we didnt have a fire guard he wud climb into the fire but wat i have noticed when putting coal on u may drop a bit but murphy is ovr 2 hoover it up, but i read r seen somewhere that they use,d this 2 clean their teeth with coal humans i mean. He doesn,t eat a bag full! wud it do him any harm all he eats r like pebble size?

Sometimes dogs with bad odour issues are given charcole based treats to help with it you can buy charcole biscuits etc in many pet stores

I wouldn't recommend it. He has to get rid of it somehow, and that means having to pass it with his poo! Ouch!

If he doesn't pass them, he could end up with too many just sitting in his stomach which would cause health issues, or they might even get caught in the intestines & cause a blockage!

We have the same problem in our house but Millie runs behind the sofa with the coal and we found a stash pushed underneath it. She isn't eating it just storing it maybe thinking she's going to eat it later.
