DOWNSIDE AND THE UPSIDE!

Hi all i just wanna say murphy is my second staffy! My 1st boy waz called simba beautiful big boy he waz 2 he passed on around 4 yrs ago at the age of 9, But back then i waz in fulltime employment and worked big hours.So DOWNSIDE didn,t get much time 2 see him only in the morning & evening and get 2 see him grow into the awsome dog he waz if u know wat i mean! Now that i only work partime though i am grateful 2 hav anything at all! UPSIDE is that i hav alot more time 2 see my new wee man grow into the fine dog that i know he will be. Learning alot more about the breed their manner, the antic,s they get up 2 and the negative press and publicity that these fine breeds get is nonsense!! Its the deed not the breed!But being able 2 come on 2 sites like this is a blessing. Sorry for the rant!

That wasn't a rant, just facts!

It is nice to see how they change from day to day as they grow up!

Its incredible! Their features change so quick apperance and stature!

When I got Moo, my second staff also she came to work with me and it was awesome being together 24/7, when I changed jobs I had to get walkers in and I only see her am and pm Makes my evenings more special though Xx

Is it something within the breed that captivates you! For ihave been around alot of dogs with my father and grandfather but they didn,t light that someting within me! But once i see a staff! Man im just drawn 2 it!

Aww that's great. Tinkerbell is our first staff, but before her I had a welsh sheepdog and he was fab. I moved away to uni when he was around 2 years old, and boy did I miss the bugger. He passed on when he was 7 due to cancer and 2 years on I still regret moving away and leaving him in my parents house.
I am again in uni, but this time as a mature student so live with my partner, kids and Tinker. I love having a dog around, and even though we have only had her a couple of months, I still see changes in her. Often wonder what she was like as a pup, I bet she was a little handful

I know where you are coming from. I can only guess they are like having children, as we don't have any kids. They do grow up so fast. It's the little changes that happen everyday that add up over the weeks.

Just stating how you feel and we all feel the same.
When I see a staff in the street, I like to try and have a chat with the owner and say hi to their dog.
When I'm driving or in the car and I see a staff, I always have the stupidest grin on my face as I'm leering out of the window. Just seeing another one other than my two brightens my day.
Being with my two makes my day

tho I think our Max KNOWS very well that his dad is a soppy sod, and takes full advantage of it at times
