crying puppy - at night.

What helped to calm your pups crying through the night? xx

The best way is just to ignore it and eventually it will stop. Billy cried for about 4 nights then nothing, Is the puppy in a cage

Aw how sweet make sure that they give you something that smells of the mother, we were given a cuddly toy, and put that in his bed.

Unless you have the pup in your bedroom with you then it will cry at night for 3 or maybe 4 nights. As already said you can get something that smells of the mother & put it in the pup's bed. Also, a radio turned down low will help it to think it's not totally alone.

If it does cry, though, you need to ignore it, as hard as that is. Soon enough it'll be ok & feel secure at night & will stop crying.

Can't really add much other than it helps if you have a few days off form work.

Chloe cried for 3 nights and then nothing However, whilst it was heartbreaking to hear if definitely paid off.

We also have a clock (cheap one from £ shop) and apparently it mimicks their mum's heartbeat.
