Flea Collars

Does anyone use or have used them and are they any good?
I remember when i was younger my cats and dogs had them so if i get them for my lot now i want to know if they are worth it or not.

Years ago the cat had one too, but I haven't a clue anymore!

I know my mum used to put them on cats back in the 50s (even ones that weren't hers!), but I was told a few years ago that they are next to useless! Don't quote me on that cause I haven't used them!

I don't like the idea of chemicals permanently stuck round my dog's neck.

Nor me so i was thinking about making my own out of certain animal friendly flea non friendly oils.

Well, Vlad hasn't had fleas yet, and our cat is an indoors cat (she doesn't go outside at all... too many big roads near us and cats are very destructive to wildlife, so we think we're being responsible)... but we do flea them both once a month. I haven't heard of flea collars in years!

That sounds better, but whether it'd work or not I've no idea!

Give it a try, and if it works, you can sell the idea!
