New Girl :-)

Hi Everyone

I'm Lisa, My parents got A staffy back in July, He is theirs but I love him like he was all mine :-)



He is only 6 months (today actually) and is full of beans, he tears about like a mad thing on his walks, then comes home and sleeps on the nearest available lap (even tries to sit on my 4 year olds lap!)

It's sad when we see people avoiding us because of Alf, he is always on the lead, unless he is playing with his doggy friends, but unfortunately a staffy gets a bad rep :-(

We hope we have many fun filled years with Alfie, he is a little monster at times, but we all love him lots.

Welcome aboard , everyone on here will have suffered the same prejudice and yes it stinks but thats just how the world is, these are just ignorant people that have never had the staffy experience , we've had Tilly for almost 18 months , some previous experience of another Staffy in the family and wanting a smaller dog made the decision for us, right now I can't move my foot for fear of waking her up as that's where her head is resting, when I go to bed she will spirit herself in there with me and when I wake up in the morning I will see 4 paws sticking up in the air while she lies head down the bed snoring and possibly slipping out the odd fart whilst waiting for a belly rub..........Staffy world

I am so glad i found this site. I don't know anyone with a staff and i was actually shocked at the amount of prejudice i got when i got my beautiful girl. I'm sorry i do NOT want to offend but is he purebred with papers? He looks very tall for 6 months. Absolutely gorgeous though and if he isn't KC reg, tell people he is

Alf is gorgeous.......and YES it is such a shame that the Staffy gets such a bad rap. If only people would give 'em a chance and actually get to know them, then they would realise what a beautiful breed they are.
