Is a SBT more like a Terrier or a Bull breed?

In your opinion is a staffordshire bull terrier a terrier or a bully breed?

It's all terrier character with the added strength of the bulls. So fiesty & never-give-up.

Both but I've ly had rescues never a pedigree

i would say its a mixture of both, but some have more bully in them than terrier, and some have more terrier than bully in them, and thats it in a nut shell

Physically, yes, but I think their temperament & character is much more terrier - quick & fiesty, ready to dig at a moment's notice or chase down prey.

Yea i agree shane. Kaos is alot more bully in both looks and definatley personality......Ty is more terrier.

ultimatly it should be a 50/50 blend of both but in reality most breeders tend to breed towards the bully end ,as thats wots in vogue with some very bully looking staffies.lets hope it doesnt go too far and we end up with bulldog probs in our staffies .

both with the terrier instinct and tenacity with muscle and build from the bull50/50 all the way

To look at a staffod it should be a nice blend of both terrier and bull.

But the personality is defintely more terrier! lol
