Sasha our wee girl appears to be top of her class for training, nothing to fancy sit, stay, lie down ect

she has started to do them without a treat as a bribe is it just me doing it with her twice a day for 10 or so minutes thats helping or is she soaking this up like a sponge ?

Awwww, keep up the good work.

Treats always helped my girl when learning ( and even now she'll do anything for a treat ) but it's great that she'll listen and obey even when a treat is'nt on offer.

treats help to start off but if you can get your dog to do it without then it shows she is paying attention to you and just being a good girl. plenty praise is due. she's a good girl applause

They really like to please their handlers once they have bonded with and trust them. They also pick thinks up really fast.

Way to go Sasha, they are fast learners, you'll find you can do it with just hand signals soon and not even have to say anything, there a bright bunch Smile

Sounds like shes a clever little girl! Staffords are notoriously easy to train and do learn very quickly. The age shes at is the best time to teach them anything as it is their optimum learning stage, by you doing short training sessions with her each day you are reinforcing these commands and keeping the sessions short which will stop her getting bored.

keep doing what your doing!
