hi im new

hi im new to this forum but not to owning staffys we got are first staffy in 2006,but sadly when she was nearly 4 we had to her pts,i could only last one wk without a staffy so now we have sky who is 20mths i will post some pics soon when ive worked it out

Yes 4 years old is very young to lose your pet..how heartbreaking....

Welcome! It surely is a difficult thing losing a loved pet so young. Been there. It breaks your heart.

no thats fine i can speek about her now still brings a tearto my eye but,poppy had sickness and diorea(sorry for spelling)for a couple of weeks the vet gave her anti sickness drugs but they never worked,she became very thin quickly you could see her ribs and spine so the vet suggested doing a ultra sound,the first call i got was to say they had found a mass inside poppys stomache,would i agree that they could open her up and see,it sounds strange but i was over the moon that they had found somthing,and they could make her better again,the vet called a second time and said she had a twisted gut,which is treatable,but part of pops gut had died so if they cut the dead part away she would have probs going to the toilet for the rest of her life,o vet said it would be best to let her go,well as you can imagine i just wanted to scream she was are baby are first staffy so well behaved loving great with the kids,but if i never of had her i wouldnt know how lovely staffys are sorry not a very happy story but at least she was one of the loved ones.sorry cant write any more bringing back memorys.
