New, saying hi from myself and Holly and Bowser

Hi,
Our dog Holly is nine years old, we got her from a dog rescue centre, she hated any other dogs and still does,lovely with people though, she was very nervous when we got her and had many scars I think she had had a rough time,then in May this year my brother went to see some staffie pups and I went with him,I saw Bowser and fell in love with him he looked like a mini me of Holly, so we got him and took him home,that was the best thing I have ever done, we kept them apart and slowly introduced them,at first Holly didn't like him at all so we were very careful not to let her near him and also made sure Holly got lots of extra cuddles,within a month they were the best of friends and even now I still cannot believe Holly loves another dog,when I saw Bowser I knew he would be good for Holly as her hips were bad and she seemed to be getting old and slowing down etc, now they play together and Holly loves running about again with him she seems to be like a young pup her self now with all the mischief she gets up to now.
