Her vet wants me to ring him !!!!

Well sadly Inca has got another Interdigital cyst (check my previous post 'Is it another one')... One appeared on her left foot about 2wks ago (to which the vet gave her anti-biotics for) but she recently developed one on her right foot . So i sent my vet some pics via email and he said its deffo another Interdigital cyst which maybe an irritant to the demodex she is trying to get rid off.. The anti-biotics (for the 1st cyst) wern't given by my usual vet as he was away for a week so i had to see another vet at the practise and my original vet has said the anti-biotics will stop any infection but wont stop her getting more cyst's...

He's worried why she's getting them in the 1st place.. but they could be a result of her reacting to the dead mites as she's on Panomec to rid her of demodex.. Either way her vet wants me to ring him to talk about what he wants to do about the cyst's ..

Also he said if we see an improvement in her fur to keep going as we are (a course of Imaverol baths and panomec daily orally) but if her fur continues to get patchy then we either put her on the max dose of panomec or do some skin biopsies or get more scrapings....

Dont worry folks i'll keep you all updated on Inca's next saga !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know what to say Sue, one thing after another. She will get through this though, just beggining to wonder if all these chemicals she is enduring , how many are actually helping Inca? Xx

I do wonder it meself Janey as this is the 2nd time she's had possible ringworm & demodex at the same time .. ..

Fingers xd she gets sorted out and she doesn't need to have her own personal room attached to the side of the vet practise ha !!...

Ahhh bless poor Inca, hope she is better soon. Must be miserable having something wrong your foot as this must make the rest of her body ache. I am sure it will soon sort it's self out with the help of the vet. Lots of big hugs being sent your way >< >< ><
