No Lottie till next week

Lottie had a check up at the vets today to check her wound from the spay op. He said he does not recommend she be rehomed this weekend because she would want to play with Lemmy and he did not want her bursting her stitches (i thought this myself but was hopeful) anyway he recommends waiting till her stitches come out which be next Thursday or Friday so she will come HOME on the Saturday. In the meantime we are going for a visit (without Lmmy) this saturday. Matthew and Gemma will be staying home and me and Pete going to see her.

a bit disapointed but the point of it all is whats best for Lottie not us we can live with the disapointment. another week won't hurt really just gives us more time to prepare and the visit saturday will let me size her up for her harness collar and coat so we can have everything here and ready. i have also got a form to fill in for the pedigree we're for dogs site. they have done an adoption drive this week and for everyone who adopts a dog they are giving away a months free food. get that sent off and my vouchers should be here in time to get some nice treats in for her and Lemmy. free things is nothing to turn your nose up at

It will give you more time to get prepared and excited

I hate waiting for a new pooch, but in this case it really sounds quite reasonable and at least you get to visit and free treats is always a welcome thing!

she will be worth the wait. it will be challenging helping her but the rewards from a dog that trusts you and knows they are loved is great

It's always best to make sure they are all healed up and she will probally really nervous and excited in her new surroundings.
