Great name
I think insurance is very important, and can be very confusing! I'm with Animal Friends myself. Its worth shopping around though Xx

lovely name - however i was advised to put my name on not the dogs as it would stop a "would-be-thief" from actually knowing the dogs name
ive invested in insurance for woody as have heard horror stories of huge vets bills should something go wrong

I wouldn't put a name on your dog's id tag - it gives would be thieves a better chance of stealing your dog.
Insurance is a matter of preference - some people prefer to put aside a certain amount each month in case of emergencies, but if you haven't saved up enough, or if there's a third party claim you could have problems.
I took out insurance on Dempsey & I'm so glad I did. He's only 2 & a half years old, and so far he's cost over £5000 in vets bill & all I've had to pay is 3 x £75 which is the excess amount.

Re: It'sofficial!
I did argue with myself over putting her name on the tag for the reasons of theft, but this being her very first tag i just had to put her name on it. Once she has had all of her immunisations i will be buying another with my address etc, but for now she isn't gonna be out of my sight so i see no harm just yet.
As for insurance i think i will speak with the other half and see what he thinks, he is the one who prefers to insure everything so i shouldn't think he would contest pet insurance.
Thanks guys

Lovely name. I think pet insurance is a great idea and the earlier the better as they usually won't cover any prexisting conditions. Vet bills can get expensive quickly.
