I'm not sure. I have this issue myself and simply take Prilosec to deal with it. I'm not aware of a similar medicine for dogs though. What did the vet say?

is the food bowl on the floor. when dogs eat they have to get the food up to the throat to swallow which can cause a lot of air intake. raising the bowl helps this. you can get a bowl holder that does the job or get one of the toilet steps that you use for kids its the right height

I'd try the raised food bowl as well.
The vet can give you medicine, similar to indegestion stuff for humans, but you may not need it.
