buster "likes" chushions..

hi guys, just a wee question, buster is 21 weeks now, still very young, but last night we were fighting with his wee cushion, and i noticed when he was biting it he was mounting it.. normal, but then he started doing a.. motion on it, is he not a bit young to be humping things ?

i have yet to know a pup that doesnt hump cushions teddies pillows you name its fair game.

Nope not to young mine used to hump his blanket at about 16 weeks but he's grown out of it now

My male hasn't shown interest in anything like that yet but a friend of mine has a male boxer/staff and he humps constantly and has done since he was about 4 or 5 months old. Having him neutered at 9 months didnt make all that much of a difference, even though my friend was told it would stop him doing it, he's just a horny boy and sounds like yours might be too, good luck! lol.

Our females have humped a lot more than the boys, so it's not just a gender thing

Blue has been doing this since he was 11/12 weeks old with his stuffed animals,pillows ,his bed whatever works.I usually take whatever he's using away as I don't want to encourage the behavior.Do they grow out of this?

Russell started humping his toy monkey as soon as we brought him home (8 weeks) now he humps everything especially Charlie the lab's head
