Ellie has been sick ( not ill) Question?
Evening all, we took Ellie to our local pet store this afternoon. She was sat on my wifes lap in the car behaving well, as we arrived and parked up she deciced to sick into the car footwell . She seemed ok after so we went in the shop where she was fussed, then bought her some chew sticks and after this on the way home she sicked again!
When cleaning the car mat i looked at what she had been eating, there was grass (lots of) stick, snail shell and lots of other bits. Tonight she seems fine as she has drank water and eaten her food, when she is out the back garden we watch her like a hawk but still she seems to eat things she shouldn't. My question is; is this normal puppy behaviour?

Re: Ellie has been sick ( not ill) Question?
Yes it is. It was probably the movement of the car, giving her motion sickness and of course along with the grass.
Lola always sicks back her sneaky grass intake.
As long as she Ellie, lovely name by the way, is drinking and seems herself, it's all normal.

Aww bless her!! .. grass eating aswell as the car journey aswell as the heat she will most deffinatly have been sick at some point .. Skye used to get sick in the car when she first came .. and vinnie and my previous staffy diesel always would chomp on grass and end up been sick, THANKFULLY vinnie is taking it easy on the grass as he gets muzzled when he eats to much.

Absolutely normal. A young pup will get very excited when going somewhere new & doing new things, and just like a baby that can sometimes make them sick.
They also eat loads of things they shouldn't & make sure that you have eyes in the back of your head!

Very normal puppy behavior and a normal reaction to be concerned. They will eat almost anything.
